TOUR PLAN
Day 1: Errachidia ➝ Ziz Valley ➝ Erfoud ➝ Merzouga (Desert Camp)
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up in Errachidia (either at the airport or your hotel). The journey heads south through the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for its lush palm groves, traditional kasbahs, and panoramic views — a perfect opportunity for photos.
You’ll continue through the town of Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops and date markets, before reaching the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga.

Upon arrival, you’ll switch to camels and begin a magical sunset camel trek through the golden dunes, enjoying the peacefulness of the Sahara.
In the heart of the desert, you’ll arrive at your Berber desert camp, where you’ll be welcomed with mint tea and traditional hospitality. After dinner, enjoy Berber music around the campfire under a sky full of stars. Overnight in a comfortable tent — standard or luxury, based on your choice.
Day 2: Merzouga ➝ Rissani ➝ Todra Gorges ➝ Dades Valley ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Marrakech
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, a peaceful and unforgettable experience. After breakfast at the camp, return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4, and continue your journey west.
The first stop is Rissani, a historic town and the birthplace of Morocco’s royal dynasty. You’ll then head to the dramatic Todra Gorges, where the massive canyon walls tower 300 meters high — a great spot for walking or photography.

From there, travel along the scenic Dades Valley, dotted with fortified villages and red rock formations. After lunch, continue to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and film location for classics like Gladiator and Game of Thrones.
In the afternoon, begin the journey over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters with panoramic views at every turn. Arrive in Marrakech by evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation.
