Day 1: Agadir - Taliouin - Kasbah Ait Benhadou - Ouarzazazte

As we traverse the scenic roads, we pause for a coffee break, savoring the moment amidst the breathtaking scenery.
Continuing our odyssey, we arrive at Taliouine, the saffron capital of Morocco, where the air is imbued with the aromatic fragrance of this prized spice. Our journey then takes us to Taznakhte, the capital of Moroccan carpets, where we indulge in a delectable lunch amidst the vibrant tapestry of traditional craftsmanship.
In the afternoon, we explore the legendary Kasbah Ait Benhadou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that stands as a testament to the architectural marvels of Morocco’s past. As the sun begins to set, we journey onward to Ouarzazate, where we have the option to visit the Cinema studio, immersing ourselves in the magic of Moroccan filmmaking.

Day 2: Ouarzazate - Agdz - Zagora - Mhamid - Erg Chegaga
Departing promptly at 8 am, our expedition to the magnificent Moroccan desert and the Erg Chegaga begins with a scenic route through the Tizi-N-Tifntit pass (1760m), offering breathtaking vistas along the way. Our journey leads us to the city of Agdz, where a panoramic view of the Draa Valley awaits, showcasing the verdant splendor of Morocco’s countryside.
Continuing our voyage, we traverse the picturesque Draa Valley, making our way to the charming village of Afraa. Here, we pause at Tamgroute to explore its treasures, including the renowned Koranic library, the subterranean Kasbah, and the exquisite pottery that embodies the region’s rich cultural heritage.
As the day unfolds, we venture towards our desert destination, arriving at Mhamid for a well-deserved lunch amidst the desert landscape. In the afternoon, our journey continues to Erg Chegaga, crossing the Erg hamada de Draa and visiting the sacred oasis before reaching the towering dunes of Chegaga.
As evening descends upon the desert, we gather for a sumptuous dinner and settle in for a magical night under the star-studded sky at the desert camp nestled amidst the Erg Chegaga dunes. Here, amidst the tranquil beauty of the desert, the rhythm of the sand and the whispers of the wind lull us into a state of peaceful serenity, promising an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Morocco’s majestic landscape.
Day 3: Erg Chegaga - Lake Iriqui - Lmadwar Desert - Foum Zguid - Tata
After breakfast, we set out for Tata along the historic Paris-Dakar route, traversing the vast expanse of the desert landscape and passing by the dry lake of Iriqui. Along the way, we’re treated to the breathtaking vistas of the Moroccan desert, including the magnificent view of the desert’s Colorado, “Lmadwar,” a sight to behold amidst the rugged terrain.
As we continue our journey, we arrive at Foum Zguid before taking the road to Tata, winding our way through the lush oasis of Aguinane. Finally, we reach Tata, nestled in the heart of Berber culture, where we’ll spend the night in the comfort of a hotel or Riad, immersing ourselves in the rich tapestry of tradition and hospitality that defines this enchanting city.
Day 4: Tata - Ighrm - Anti Atlas - Oasis Tiout - Agadir
After having breakfast, we set forth for Agadir, our route winding through the enchanting oasis of Tiout d’Ighrm and the majestic Anti-Atlas Mountains, where the beauty of the landscapes unfolds before us in all its splendor.
Upon reaching the oasis of Tioute, we pause for a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of traditional Moroccan cuisine amidst the serene surroundings. Energized and invigorated, we resume our journey, continuing our exploration in Taroudant, often referred to as “little Marrakech.” Here, we immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the city, exploring its bustling streets and ancient walls that bear witness to centuries of history and tradition.
As the afternoon wanes, we bid farewell to Taroudant and set our sights on Agadir, the sun-drenched jewel of Morocco’s southern coast. As we journey onward, the anticipation of new adventures and unforgettable experiences awaits, promising memories to cherish for a lifetime.
