Day 1: Casablanca Arrival
Upon your arrival at Casablanca airport, our team will greet you and provide transportation to the hotel where dinner will be served.
Day 2: Casablanca- Rabat
You will commence your second day with a panoramic exploration of Casablanca, the economic capital of the kingdom. Witness its vibrant neighborhoods and visit its myriad attractions: the Medina, Mohamed V Square, the United Nations Square, the Central Market, the Habbous district, the Royal Palace,
the residential district of Anfa, and the picturesque corniche Ain Diab, adorned with swimming pools and gourmet restaurants, culminating with the majestic Hassan II mosque towering over the landscape. Departing from “Casa,” you will journey to Rabat, the modern administrative capital and ancient imperial city characterized by its orderliness and floral beauty.
Explore the medina, the Kasbah Oudayas, the Hassan tower, and the magnificent mausoleum of Mohamed V, before traversing the walls of the Méchouar encircling the royal palace.
Day 3: Rabat - Meknes - Fez
Departing from Rabat, our journey takes us to the holy city of Moulay Idriss, named after the first sultan of Morocco. From there, we proceed to Meknes, often referred to as the “Moroccan Versailles”. Founded in the late 17th century, Meknes boasts a triple-walled area spanning 40 km and consists of two distinct areas: the historic Medina, housing the magnificent Bab El Mansour, considered the most beautiful gate in Morocco, and the modern city on the opposite side.
After exploring Meknes, our expedition continues to Fez, with a captivating stopover at the ruins of the Roman site of Volubilis. Delve into the rich history of this ancient settlement before continuing our journey to Fez. Upon arrival, we settle in at the Riad or hotel for an overnight stay, ready to immerse ourselves in the wonders of this historic city.
Day 4: Fez Guided City Tour
The entire day will be dedicated to uncovering the hidden treasures of Fes, the oldest imperial city and the religious capital of Morocco. Your journey will take you through the winding alleys of the Medina, where you’ll explore the Medersas Bou Anania and Attarine, renowned for their exquisite architecture and historical significance. You’ll have the opportunity to glimpse the entrance to the Qarawiyyin Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world, dating back to the 9th century.
Next, marvel at the beauty of the Nejjarine fountain, a stunning example of Moroccan craftsmanship, before delving into the vibrant atmosphere of the city’s bustling souks, considered among the most beautiful in Morocco. Day 5: Fez - Ifrane - Beni-mellal - Marrakech
We begin our journey towards Marrakech, traversing a magnificent and diverse route that showcases the natural beauty of Morocco. Our path leads us through the Middle Atlas region, where we’ll pass by Immouzzer Kandar and Lake Ait Aoua, each offering breathtaking vistas of their own. We’ll then arrive at Ifrane, a charming ski resort nestled amidst a lush cedar forest, where rivers meander serenely.
Taking a moment to pause and rejuvenate in the picturesque surroundings of Beni-Mellal, we continue our journey towards Marrakech. As we draw closer to our destination, the landscape gradually transforms, with the rich red earth blending harmoniously with the azure sky and verdant palm trees. Prepare to be captivated by the ever-changing scenery and the enchanting beauty that awaits us in Marrakech.
Day 6: Marrakech Guided City Tour
Today is dedicated to exploring Marrakech, often referred to as the “Pearl of the South”, a city founded in the 11th century by the Almoravids. Our journey begins with a visit to the Saadian Tombs, dating back to the 16th century dynasty, followed by a tour of the Dar Si Said Museum, showcasing exquisite Moroccan craftsmanship.
We’ll then meander through the lush Agdal and Menara Gardens, marvel at the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, and explore the opulent Bahia Palace, a testament to Moroccan architectural splendor. Nearby, we’ll visit an argan cooperative managed by women, offering insight into the production of argan oil and its importance in Moroccan culture.
Continuing our journey, we’ll arrive in Essaouira, where you’ll have free time to explore the quaint town at your leisure. Indulge in a delightful lunch featuring fresh fish caught from the nearby waters. In the afternoon, embark on a guided tour of the city and the enchanting medina of Essaouira, characterized by its ancient Portuguese fortifications and renowned for its skilled artisans crafting silver jewelry and intricate marquetry on Thuya wood. En route, we’ll pass through the charming city of Oualidia, where we’ll pause for a delightful lunch featuring specialties of fresh fish, showcasing the region’s culinary delights.
Continuing along the Atlantic coast, we arrive in El Jadida, where we’ll explore the historic Portuguese port and the impressive ramparts, offering magnificent views of the vast Atlantic Ocean. Immerse yourself in the rich history and coastal beauty that defines this captivating city.
Upon our arrival in Casablanca, we settle in for dinner and comfortable accommodation, reflecting on the memories and experiences gathered along our journey through the diverse landscapes and cultural treasures of Morocco.
Day 9: El Jadida - Casablanca
After having your breakfast, we commence a journey of discovery within the city of El Jadida. Our exploration begins with a visit to the ancient Portuguese Kasbah, where the echoes of history reverberate through its ancient walls. We’ll then venture to the renowned Portuguese cistern, an architectural marvel that stands as a testament to the city’s rich heritage.
Continuing our journey, we set our sights towards Casablanca, eagerly anticipating the adventures that lie ahead. As we bid farewell to El Jadida, we carry with us the memories of its storied past and the treasures unearthed during our exploration.
Day 10: Casablanca Departure
After breakfast, we’ll arrange for your transfer to Mohamed V Airport in Casablanca, marking the end of our memorable journey together.
