Day 1: Casablanca Arrival

Upon your arrival at Mohamed V Airport, our team will be there to greet you and provide comfortable transfer to your hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may have the opportunity to visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture and a symbol of Casablanca’s rich heritage.

Afterwards, you’ll indulge in a delicious dinner and settle into your accommodations at the hotel, where you can unwind and prepare for the adventures that await you in Morocco. Welcome to the beginning of an unforgettable journey filled with discovery and cultural immersion.

Day 2: Marrakesh guided city tour

Today offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of Marrakech, the southern imperial city. Our exploration begins with a visit to the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, where you’ll marvel at its towering minaret, a symbol of Moorish architecture. Delve into history at the Saadian Tombs, adorned with intricate mosaic tiles dating back to the 16th century.

Next, we’ll discover the opulent Bahia Palace, a testament to 19th-century oriental architecture, before pausing for a delightful lunch. Day 3: Marrakech - Telouat - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate

After enjoying breakfast, we commence our journey by traversing the High Atlas Mountains, ascending through the scenic Tizi Ntichka pass, reaching an elevation of 2260 meters above sea level. We then take a detour to explore the rugged terrain and visit the historic Kasbah of Telouet, a testament to Morocco’s rich cultural heritage.

As we continue our expedition, we pass through Berber villages, each offering insights into traditional mountain life, before arriving at the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou. This UNESCO World Heritage site has served as a backdrop for numerous iconic films, including Gladiator and Sahara, enhancing its mystique and allure. Our journey proceeds to Ouarzazate, known as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, we’ll settle in for the evening at a hotel or Riad, where you can unwind and contemplate the day’s discoveries amidst the captivating landscapes of Morocco.

Day 4: Ouarzazate - Skoura - Dades Valley

After enjoying breakfast, we embark on a brief exploration of Ouarzazate, renowned as the gateway to the vast desert and the starting point for grand expeditions. Our visit includes the Taourirt Kasbah, an emblem of Moroccan architecture, and the primary residence of Glaoui, the Grand Pasha of the southern region of Morocco.

Day 6: Merzouga - Erg Chebbi - Merzouga

After enjoying your  breakfast, prepare to embark on a captivating exploration of the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. Our journey begins with a fascinating insight into the traditional irrigation system known as “Khettaras,” which channels water to the oasis through a network of interconnected wells and underground channels. Day 7: Merzouga - Midelt - Fes

Our northward bound adventure takes us through the picturesque palm Valley of Ziz, where we pause for a brief interlude to capture the beauty of the surroundings with photographs. Continuing our voyage, we traverse through Midelt, renowned for its flourishing apple orchards.

Delve into the enchanting UNESCO-preserved cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, where you’ll have the opportunity to encounter the playful Barbary Macaques amidst the ancient trees. Fes, or Fez, stands as the oldest Imperial Capital of Morocco, founded by Moulay Idriss I in the 8th century. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it boasts the largest urban car-free district in the world.

Begin your day with a panoramic vista of Fes el-Bali, the oldest part of Fes, from atop a hill, offering sweeping views of its ancient streets and labyrinthine alleys. Next, venture to the Royal Palace, adorned with beautiful bronze gates, before meandering through the Mella, the former Jewish Quarter, with an optional visit to the synagogue.

Here, amidst the remnants of a bygone era, you’ll embark on a guided walking tour, delving into the rich history of the Roman civilization that once thrived in North Africa.

Continuing our expedition, we make our way to the enigmatic city of Meknes, where our tour commences at the grand Bab Mansour. Meander through the bustling olive market, soak in the lively atmosphere of el-Hedim Square, and visit the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, a testament to the city’s storied past.

As we traverse the city’s ancient walls, we’ll visit the granaries and stables, where Sultan Moulay Ismail once tended to his remarkable herd of 12,000 horses. Day 10: Meknes – Ouazzane – Chefchaouen

Later, we will head to Chefchaouen, driving through the fertile agricultural plain of Gharb and Ouazzane. Once we arrive in the blue-city, we will spend the rest of the day exploring and enjoying the magic of Chefchaouen. You may want to start your tour by visiting the dramatic Kasbah, located in the heart of the Medina. This Kasbah (fortress) has a rich history dating back to the 15th century when Moulay Ali Ibn Rashid constructed it to resist the Spanish and Portuguese Invaders.

Immerse yourself in the beautifully-painted streets of Chefchaouen, soaking in the local culture as you pass by public Hammams, mosques, and communal bakeries. Visit Ras el-Ma Spring, offering panoramic views, and consider a soft hike uphill for a complete view of the Medina.

Day 11: Chefchaouen - Tangier - Rabat

After breakfast, we will depart from Chefchaouen towards another beautiful city in northern Morocco. Our journey takes us to Tangier, the capital of the north. In Tangier, we will explore the Portuguese Kasbah, Cape Spartel, and the Heracles Caves, each offering unique insights into the region’s history and natural beauty.

We then proceed to Assilah, renowned for its ancient Portuguese fortress and vibrant, colorful walls. After a stop for lunch, we continue our drive to the capital of Morocco, Rabat.

Day 12: Rabat – Casablanca
