Day 1: Marrakech - High Atlas - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley
Commence your day with a 07:30 am pick-up from your hotel/Riad in Marrakech, where your private driver/guide awaits. Traverse the awe-inspiring High-Atlas Mountains, a journey marked by majestic snow-capped peaks in winter, quaint Berber Villages, and diverse flora and fauna.
Cross the renowned Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260 m), offering sweeping vistas, before reaching the UNESCO-preserved Kser (Village) of Ait Benhaddou. Embark on a captivating walking tour of this architectural masterpiece, adorned with imposing Kasbahs boasting four towers, high-walled fortifications, and intricate detailing. Ait Benhaddou’s cinematic allure has graced the screens of renowned films like Sahara, Lawrence of Arabia, and Gladiator.
Continue southeast towards the enchanting Dades Valley, passing through the verdant Valley of Roses, renowned for its fragrant blooms. Pause for a brief respite to explore local produce and immerse yourself in the region’s rich heritage.

Day 2: Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga Desert
After having breakfast at your hotel/Riad, embark on a journey further south towards the captivating Merzouga desert, with a stop at the impressive Todra Gorge. This towering cliff has long been a magnet for mountain climbers and nature enthusiasts, offering breathtaking vistas and a chance to stretch your legs amidst the awe-inspiring scenery.
Continuing our desert odyssey, we traverse through Erfoud, renowned for its bustling dates markets and fossil factories, adding a touch of local flavor to our adventure.
Arriving in the enchanting Merzouga desert, prepare for an unforgettable camel ride experience as we witness the mesmerizing sunset against the golden sands. Arrive at our desert camp, where a delectable dinner awaits, followed by a serene night in your private en-suite tent, enveloped by the tranquility of the desert.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert - Nkob - Ouarzazate
Rise early to catch the first light of dawn as we ascend the sand dunes, offering a spectacular vantage point to witness the breathtaking sunrise. After indulging in breakfast and refreshing ourselves, our journey resumes towards Ouarzazate, fondly known as the “Hollywood of Africa.”
Ouarzazate boasts the renowned Atlas Film Studios, where a plethora of national and international films have been immortalized, including Cleopatra, Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and many more cinematic masterpieces.
En route to Ouarzazate, we traverse the striking Anti-Atlas Mountains, renowned for their peculiar geological formations, adding a touch of intrigue to our adventure. Our third night is spent in the comfort of an authentic yet cozy hotel/Riad, providing a serene retreat amidst our unforgettable journey.
Day 4: Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
After having breakfast at your hotel/Riad, we set our sights on Marrakech, embarking on a captivating journey that includes a visit to the iconic 19th-century Taorirt Kasbah nestled in the heart of Ouarzazate. Delve into the rich history and architectural splendor of this ancient fortress before continuing our exploration with a tour of the renowned Atlas Film Studios, offering insight into the cinematic legacy of the region.
As our adventure unfolds, we traverse the majestic Atlas Mountains, soaking in the breathtaking vistas that unfold before us. Our journey culminates as we arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, ready to immerse ourselves in the vibrant tapestry of sights, sounds, and flavors that await in this enchanting city.
